about
the Annapolis Holiday market

This year, we look forward to welcoming you back to the best holiday markets in the mid-Atlantic region, which is quickly becoming a holiday tradition.
Annapolis, Maryland, USA, is annually recognized as one of the top Christmas towns to visit in the USA, and this holiday event will reaffirm why this town is a special place to visit during the holidays. The market is situated on the historic waterfront of the City of Annapolis. The downtown area is known for its Charles Dickens holiday spirit. The town is decorated for the season with holiday greens, wreaths on the lamp posts, and beautiful storefront windows.

The market will be filled with a wide range of art, crafts, food, and handmade gift items from local and regional art, craft, and food vendors. Plus, we will have hot chocolates, hot apple cider, spiced wine, strudels, and more to keep you refreshed in the holiday market. This type of holiday market is also known as a Kris Kringle Market or Christmas Market.

The Annapolis Holiday Market is now in its fourth year. This holiday market will feature 100 artisans, specialty holiday food vendors, and holiday entertainment. This year, we are at a new location while the city dock is under renovation. We will be on the front lawn of St John's College near the intersection of College Avenue and St john's Street. It is a beautiful historic campus.
On Saturday, December 13th, there is a Santa Speedo Run at 11 am on Main Street, a Kwanza Festival from 10 am to 4 pm at the Banneker Douglas Tubman Museum, and evening, from 6 pm to 8 pm, is the Eastport Light Parade.

On Thursday, December 18th, it's a shopping party all over downtown Annapolis as stores stay open until 11 pm, and music fills the streets, allowing for plenty of time for late-night shopping during the final Midnight Madness event of the season.

Be sure to plan to leave enough time to stroll, tour, shop, and dine throughout the beautifully decorated streets of downtown Annapolis. The entire downtown area is beautifully decorated and filled with unique, locally owned businesses.
One block away is the Maryland Statehouse is open daily until 5 pm and is filled with Christmas Trees representing every county in the State and Baltimore City. Also, a block from the market, there are shops and restaurants on Maryland Ave and State Circle. Be sure to check out this beautiful street for more shopping and get a picture under its holiday light canopy.
